Frame Building Classes
If you’d like to learn how to build bicycle frames or want to perfect particular skills, I’m happy to offer classes and individual instruction. I offer instruction as requested, so you can schedule at your convenience. Class size at my shop in Glastonbury, CT is a maximum of two students, so you’ll receive intensive individualized guidance. If you have a larger group and an appropriate facility, I can bring my equipment to your location to hold a class.
Tuition and materials for this class, including 80 hours of instruction and shop time for two consecutive weeks, is $4500 per student, assuming two students. You’ll leave with a completed frame and fork, perhaps lacking only in some final work with files and sandpaper before being ready for paint.
